misty morning

asakiyume was talking about the picturesque tobacco farms in our area the other day, and this morning it was so misty and beautiful that I had to pull over and take pictures. This farm is in a valley near where I live, and I took the pic from a parking lot on the main road above.

The sunbeams through the fog were just gorgeous the whole way in, but as I had a sales meeting, I couldn't keep stopping to take pictures every five minutes. *g*

I took this one at a stop light. Too bad there was a yield sign in the middle!

Yeah -- having grown up on a farm where tobacco was grown for awhile, I must say that's a really fine classic photo of a tobacco farm.

Don't be sorry for the yield sign. It's a fabulous photo, with a great message. The sunbeams look at that sign and refuse to stop. Good advice for anyone! I love the poetry of this picture. Even if you didn't intend it. :-)

That looks a lot like my morning! (Well, the second more than the first. But when I used to work in Windsor, I'd see the tobacco farms - I really like how they look.)

Windsor's not too far from here. I never knew about the tobacco farms until I moved here.
