My sister made me a birthday card that had several scanned pictures from mom's vast collection, and I asked her to send them to me. I love this one: I was about ten, and I remember that shirt. It had buttons printed all over it, and we were all wearing smiley-face buttons (remember those?). I don't remember where this was taken, but it was probably Sacandaga Lake.


This one was from a couple of years earlier, with the teddy bears my aunt Dorothy made for us.



And here we are, when my new baby sister came home:

I spent some time when my nephew was up here going through old family photos with him. He'd never seen photos (other than high school) of his dad or my younger brother without beards. It was fun.
