My old roomie, corachaos, was in the area today, so we got together and went up to Yankee Candle in Deerfield. It was so great to see her (and her hubby) again after all this time! Yankee Candle is a fun place to roam around and hang out, too. They had their Halloween section open (and were playing the theme to Dark Shadows), and they had a fun Wizard of Oz display, amongst their usual fun offerings.










We then went to Apollo's Grill in Easthampton, where we met her friend Heather and had a nice supper. Yay, new photog friend! It was a lovely afternoon. :)

Those little ghosts are really funny! I can't imagine buying just one... they seem to need to be in a herd.

The rocking chairs are lovely, too. I found myself checking to see whether the floor was level. Now I'm tempted to go take a photo there so that the chairs appear straight up, if you get what I mean.

i like the staircase. i'm not quite sure why ... it just looks kinds neat :)
