It's been a damp couple of days. The rain appears to have stopped, however, and I went for a walk on my break to get the heck out of the office for a bit.
There was a near disaster here today when my big HMO customer said they hadn't gotten the ad for next week together, leaving me with a full-page (and $3K) hole in Monday's paper. I emailed her back, saying it was rather late to leave us in the lurch, and she apologized and promised to get me an ad. *whew* We (i.e.: the publisher) were panicking there for a minute. And yes, we got the ad.
I'm thinking that tonight would be a perfect night for a bonfire. Do you think I could get the city of Westfield to celebrate Guy Fawkes day? *g*

Date: 2010-11-06 02:33 pm (UTC)November is a really good time for a bonfire and it would be really funny if we managed to swap our traditional customs. :)
