I walked down to CVS to get vitamins (on sale!) and passed the old Normal School (now Westfield State, now in another part of town). I love all the little decorative touches; they just don't build 'em like that anymore.


On the way back, I noticed that there were Indians over the windows at a bank.



Perhaps it used to be a Shawmut Bank? Are they even around anymore, or have they been swallowed up by mergers? It's hard to keep track.

I'm feeling pretty wiped out this afternoon. I think it's going to be a quiet night in, parked in the papasan with a book or maybe a movie. I just don't have it in me to go anywhere.

The snow they've been talking about all week looks like it's going to miss us tomorrow. You folks on the coast may get some, though. Enjoy it for me!
