It was fracking cold today, despite the sunshine. Cold, and windy. I went out anyway, because it's spring, dammit! Even the crocuses were bundled up against the cold, refusing to open. This squirrel was perched on a utility pole, chattering away at me, across from the police station. I think he was complaining about the cold, too.

Trying to deal with some unwelcome drama making the world even harder to deal with than usual this week. I'm vacillating between wanting to withdraw completely, and wanting to run away from it all. Neither is a viable option. Going to attempt to write some of it out of me during Earth Hour this evening. Next to walking in the woods, that's the best therapy I know.
