Did you know that Darwin and Lincoln were born on the same day? Both were born on February 12, 1809.
Michelle Kwan has withdrawn from the Olympics. Poor kid; I would have liked to see her win the gold. Alas, it was not to be.
I just realized yesterday that Torino is Turin, of "The Shroud of" fame. Yeah, sometimes I can be thick in the haid. I guess NBC decided it sounded better. Which, OK, that's what the natives call it. But apparently the tradition is to call a city by its English name, and most of the news services are calling it Turin.
There's only about an inch of snow so far, but they're calling for 2-3" per hour later on. Worse along the coast. I'm glad there's nowhere I have to be today. I was up before 5:00 this morning, and so stuffed up that I couldn't get back to sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep later. Took more drugs; that should help. My poor nose is already sore, even with the lotion tissue.
Yep, starting to get that dopey feeling. Good ol' Benadryl. I'll be floating away soon, unable to type or, most likely, read.
