Ten years ago today, I created this journal. My life has changed a lot since then, mostly for the better, and is immeasurably enriched by the friends I have have found here. We've shared our ups and downs, celebrated each others' accomplishments and comforted our losses. Because of LJ, I have friends on both sides of the Atlantic, some of whom I've never met in the flesh but consider friends just the same. It's a friendly, welcoming place. No matter how many new social media sites that come along and steal away my time, I always come back here. Thank you, my friends, for sharing a part of your life with me!

Today is my 6th LJ anniversary. 6 years! Happy anniversary to me. :)

I love the friends and communities I have found here. I've enjoyed getting to know RL friends better here. I like being able to share the highlights (and lowlights) of my life, and how supportive everyone is. I appreciate having a place where I can share my photos, and getting feedback on them. Most of all, I enjoy reading about everyone's triumphs and struggles, and connecting on an emotional level with people I've never even met. You all rock.

Today is my third LJ anniversary. I've met a lot of really cool people here, and kept in touch with old friends as well. We've shared tragedy and triumph, and everyday life. It's an amazing community here, and I'm honored to be a part of it. You guys keep me sane. :)
