Jan. 1st, 2010 06:34 pmIt's really hard to wrap my mind around the concept of 2010. How the heck did it get to be 2010? It feels like the future, except that everything's pretty much the same. I still don't have a transporter, or even a flying car.
I do, however, have some pretty futuristic devices, if you go by what was around when I was born. A digital camera. A computer in my bedroom. On a small desk, even. A mobile phone that fits in my jeans pocket. Eat your heart out, Captain Kirk!

I made the pork roast that mum sent home with me last week, which turned out to be butterflied so I stuffed it. I had it with sauerkraut, as is traditional for New Year's day. Yum.
