All this grey weather has inspired me to add some color to my life; I painted my toenails this lovely teal, which amuses me greatly. It's a Wet 'n' Wild version of an old MAC color that I loved so much, I used it up. It's a bit greener than it looks in this photo; sort of a peacock blue. Yes, I am easily amused. *g*

Another grey spot on the day: Miss Snark has announced that she's retiring. I will miss her biting wit, great advice, and Clooney sightings. I'm sure she must be burnt out, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if she resurfaced someday.

It looks as if it will remain cool & damp all day, which won't put *too* much of a damper on the cookout later on, but it would be nice if one of these years we actually had a nice day for it. It's been a while. See some of you there!

I freaked out one of my coworkers with the shadow-on-the-tree photo this morning. I told her I took it in a cemetery, and she thought it was a ghost! *g*

I sent an email to Miss Snark and she answered! I'd sent her a link to a story about George Clooney (for whom we share an obsession), and this is what she wrote: "bawdy tart.
she should be banned from Oceans 13 screenings for life." Hee!

I'm not holding out hope that we're getting out of here on time today. We have to finish both zones (we usually do zone B on Mondays) because they're switching over to OSX this weekend. I'll be very surprised if we get out anywhere near 5:00. Next week should be a fun roller coaster ride. I may bring in cookies for the art department. They'll need them.

I have a bit of a reprieve at the moment, until they finish laying out the classifieds. I'm enjoying it while I can. *g*
