in like a pussycat
Mar. 1st, 2010 06:36 pmIt actually wasn't a bad day out there; on the warm side, and almost sunny. Too bad I had to spend it in the office all day. :P
I snuck outside while my noodles were warming and snapped a shot of the puffballs that were exposed after the snow melted behind the building.
( puffballs! )
I always loved puffballs as a kid. *poof* OK, I still love them. *poof poof*
Other than the puffballs, the highlight of my day was the Orville Redenbacher popcorn with cracked pepper that I had for a mid-afternoon snack.
( mmm, smells good )
At least TV is back to normal tonight, and I can watch Chuck instead of skiing. I do enjoy the Olympics, but I'm glad they're over. It went on quite long enough.
Then I have the Sookie Stackhouse short story collection to dive into, thanks to interlibrary loan. I can fill in all the missing pieces I noticed as I read the books. There were several times when I though, wait, I don't remember that! I do hope that Bubba shows up at least once. *g*
