I did four loads of laundry today. Yes, four, because I have been woefully neglectful of my laundry duties the past couple of weeks. It's a good thing I have plenty of underwear. I pretty much had to do it because I was out of clean warm socks.

I went to Ocean State Job Lot because I needed measuring cups*, which of course they didn't have, but they did have cashmere-blend socks for $3.99 for two pair. So now I have more clean warm socks.

When I got back home, I decided that it was not too cold to go for a walk, so I wandered over toward Grandmothers' Garden, where I took a few photos. Most of them will have to wait until tomorrow to be uploaded, because I just don't have the patience to fight with my computer anymore. I picked one, and that's it for today.

* I have measuring cups, but for some reason my 1/3 cup measure has gone AWOL. I'll have to try Big Lots next.

Today's Halloween socks are my favorite ones. I lurve these socks. I sometimes wear them at other times besides Halloween, but today they are perfect.

Yes, Edgar still lives on my desk. I brought him in a few years back for Halloween, and he liked it here so much I let him stay. It reminds my coworkers that I'm not quite exactly like they are. *g*

My brother gave Edgar to me when he worked in a bookstore, where he was part of a display. Does my bro know me, or what?
