lizziebelleThe classifieds were done extra early today, so now I am left with all this time until I can go home, and not a whole lot to do. Drat. I'm by myself again, so I can't make calls. Darn.
Neither of the potential employers who called me worked out; one was just too far away, and the other wasn't a stable enough income to justify making the switch. I'm just not ready to go to all commission, especially in an industry I know nothing about. It would take way too long to get to a decent (and dependable) income. At least here I can count on a certain amount each week, even if it is pitiful.
Tomorrow morning is the Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show at the Big E. I got a pile of free tickets, because they advertised with me. There's a bunch of us meeting there to ooh and aah over the pretty, shiny things. I can't afford to buy anything, but it's probably just as well... I have enough stuff already. But I am a magpie... shiny! Pretty! Oooooh!
