Moon, moon

Luckily for me, the skies were clear last night for the eclipse. My downstairs neighbors and I were hanging out in the driveway enjoying the spectacle. I'm glad it happened at a reasonable time, because I am definitely not a night owl, especially on a school night. I took pictures of several stages, starting with the full moon:









I'm pretty pleased with them, considering I don't have a tripod or a DSLR. My Nikon Coolpix rocks.

Beautiful!
It was too cloudy here for us to see much. But I saw a great lunar eclipse a few years ago, so I don't feel cheated.
