good Saturday morning!
Apr. 29th, 2006 10:56 amMy day didn't begin with George Clooney, alas, but rather with a phone call from my mother. Just general chattiness and catching up, but she did tell me that my uncle Dick had died last week. He was married to my aunt Mary Jane, my dad's sister. A very nice fellow. Good journey, uncle Dick! I must remember to get cards for my aunt & cousin. We moved to a house across the street from them when I was in college, back in Geneseo. I lived with them for a while after my parents moved to Baltimore. The last time I saw all of them was at my cousin Sue's wedding, in '97.
I have a million things I have to get done today, including going to the grocery store for stuff for tonight's Beltane feast, stopping at the library for a book they have on hold for me, painting my toenails, digging out some summery clothing for the ritual, and various & sundry other little things. I'd better get a move on!
Here's a bit of fun: the Judge in the DaVinci Code trial hid a secret message in his ruling on the case. It's nice to see that justice sometimes has a sense of humor. ;)
