So, yay for Michael Phelps! I stayed up to watch his final race last night, and cheered when they won. He seems like a nice kid, and his mom is a hoot.

But, I gotta say, Mark Spitz did it in a speedo and a mustache. And who over the age of 40 or so can forget that poster of him in said speedo with his seven gold medals gleaming on that broad chest? Oh, yeah.

Another nice walk at the wildlife sanctuary this afternoon. The late afternoon light was lovely, and the woods were nearly deserted. Still lots of great fungi, and lots of green. I do love it there! Click the link to see what else I found there.
