lizziebelleLast night's Pirate Adventure was a blast! A bunch of us dressed up (Nancy here went all out) and everybody had a good time. The movie was fun, if a bit overlong & bloated in spots, but we all got into the swashbuckling spirit and enjoyed it.

ami_1's place after work, where we had pizza and lounged on the deck before the skeeters chased us back inside. It was a short hop over to the theatre, where the crew from The Reminder were already set up with the treasure chest full of pirate booty. Even the publisher put on a kerchief, and thanked everyone for coming before the movie started.
We didn't stay through the credits (even though I'd heard there was an Easter egg) because, well, nature was calling, and it was getting late. Did I mention that it's a long movie? It's looooong. But worth seeing if you enjoyed the first two. Just don't get a large drink. ;)
