Some lovely person has coopted my work email address and used it to send spam. I keep getting 'undeliverable' and 'out of office' replies in my inbox, with spam subject lines. Lots of them. Lots and lots. It's quite annoying. If you get spam today, it might just be from my email address. Sorry about that. *g*

This is what happens when your email address is on a website, I guess. Lovely.

It doesn't even have to be on a website (though since it's your work address that's the likely source) - any time your address appears in an email on any person's computer and that person is lax about virus protection, viruses will scan all their email and harvest the addresses. This is why I'm so PO'd when people send out large emails to all their friends and put all the addresses in TO and CC, instead of using BCC, which will NOT deliver my address to 50 other people I don't know!
