I did so much walking this weekend, I am stiff and sore. It was so worth it, though; what a gorgeous weekend! A real taste of spring. It felt so good to be outside without a coat, gloves, and hat. I was almost too warm in a sweatshirt jacket.

The river was much higher today than it was yesterday; must be all that melting snow & ice. I crossed this creekbed yesterday, and it was dry.



The river itself was at least a foot higher today.







There was a huge mound of flowers in the cemetery, and I just couldn't resist. They were mostly white, and so pretty. There was some Russian candy placed next to them.







I came across a gravestone that made the writer in me cringe. It's wrong on so many levels!



At least they spelled it correctly. This poor guy wasn't so lucky.



I'm looking forward now to a hot shower, and the Oscars on the telly. I just hope I can stay awake for it!

Wow -- I didn't think gravestone carvers were allowed to make grammatical and spelling errors. It's an invitation to poltergeist activity ;-)

Gorgeous Spring photos - I lovel the light through the trees! I haven't seen anything so inspiring around here yet.
