I'm proud to say that I resisted spending the day in front of the telly, watching Doctor Who reruns. I did watch half of one episode while eating brunch, but I did more reading, and even got out of the house. Today was the meet & greet at B&N, and we even had three new people! Part of this was due to a conversation we had on the email list, asking if we should keep having them since the same four or five of us always show, but no one else. Then we moved to Facebook, and sent out invitations. It seems to have worked, at least for now! Yay for new people. We even talked about Pagan stuff. Will wonders never cease?

I caught my toe on the handle of a small shopping bag (which I know I tossed into the trash) this morning, landed on my knee, and hit my hip on the way down. What hurts? My toe! Ouchie. I don't think it's broken, because I can walk on it, but it twinges now and then when it bends. My body insists on reminding me now and then that I'm a klutz.

Mercury goes retrograde tonight, so remember to check the fluids in your car, and backup anything that you don't want to lose!

I'm very much looking forward to finally seeing the new Doctor this evening. I've heard good things about him. I even have popcorn. :)

Yeah, I know. Seems like it was just retrograde, doesn't it?

Thanks! I'm glad, too.

are you absolutely certain it didn't go retrograde this morning, say: 8:30ish? (^points to her most recent post^).

And Mercury is in retrograde about 50% of the time, no? Due to it having such a tightly wound orbit, compared to our own?

The effects start several days before it actually goes retrograde, and last for several days after it goes direct.

It goes retrograde about 3 times a year, for about 3 weeks at a time.

Ouch! I hope you feel better soon, and don't have any bruises. It reminds me of my tripping over a snow shovel several months ago...

So far it looks like just a small bruise on my knee. Whew!

except this year it goes retrograde 4x instead of just 3. (bleh.) for me, the tough part was two mercury retrogrades sandwiching a mars retrograde. (mars is my main planet.) the end of 2009 and start of 2010 was a b*tch, let's just say. at least we had a short breather before the second mercury retrograde, and hey, the slate shall be extra clear for happy things to take place. right? :)

am sorry your toe is giving you trouble. hope it heals well and fast.

Thanks. It's not as bad as it was yesterday.

I've already noticed several little tricks being played by Mercury, including LJ logging me out a couple of times. I see several posts on Facebook by people experiencing similar things. Oy.
