It was a nice cool morning, if a bit overcast, so I headed down to the woods to escape from the apartment (and the phone, and the computer). Alas, it was not the quiet refuge I craved as the airshow is in town this weekend; my reveries were often interrupted by airplanes and jets passing overhead. Still, it was better than being cooped up inside.

Even with the airshow noise, it was a nice walk. :)

Feeling a bit better today, so I went for a nice long walk. It's a gorgeous day out, which is usual for the day after a hurricane (or tropical storm, which Hanna was by the time it got here). A few jet fighters from the nearby airshow flew over. I think the Thunderbirds were there this time. They're so loud! They look cool in formation, though.

I found lots of nifty fungi, like this ruffly specimen. I also got more goose shots, and swan, and frog as well. Click the link to see it all!
