lizziebelleI took today off as my birthday (it was Saturday) rather than Friday, thinking Monday would be slower at work, and it turned out to be a pretty nice day. I went over to Gates Pond for a walk, and found lots of dragonflies flitting about by the water. A couple of them even held still long enough for me to get a picture.
I've been seeing a few folks doing daily gratitude posts on Facebook, and thought my birthday month would be the perfect time to do that. I need to concentrate more on what I do have, rather than what I don't. From big to small, I'm giving thanks for all the good things in my life. It's something I need to remember, every day. I'll put the whole list up here at the end of the month. Here's an extra one for today, and just for my LJ buds: I'm thankful for all of you. You brighten up my day, every day.
